I was curious if anyone had any thoughts on these. After doing the taxes on the w/e and experiencing my third mic failure and seeing the price on these babies drop I went for the gusto and picked these up? Anyone have them or the X500 (same thing minus MW3 branding). I know I will be picking up a dedicated rechargeable battery set for these but hopefully they will be everything I'm wanting in a headphones. The current Tritton 720's I have had great sound but too many wires and tethered tp controller.

Well I do have Turtle Beach but mine are a bit older. Maybe Tak's are a little more new. If you can afford a better headset it's worth the investment. Buy an extended warranty if they offer one as well. Also worth it.

Besides the amount of batteries this thing eats my X31's are great. Never had a problem in the 2 years since I got them.

I want the XP500's next; maybe my birthday present to myself.

OK so these came in yesterday and are totally awesome! Once I figured out the bluetooth from the ipad was pairing with the headset and turned it off all was well. They sound great. All wireless with the option to hard wire is great. The presets are pretty cool too. All in all a VERY worthwhile investment.
