Hey people I have come up with a unique challenge that will turn in to a game night event for anyone interested. So here we go. I challenge all NoBS community members that own Halo: Reach to make a brand new custom map (of your own making) and any custom game type of your choosing. Let your Forge World imaginations run wild. My one stipulation is that you come up with a map on your own or at the very least make a map in cooperation with another NoBS Member (To do that simply save what you have done and share your file with the other person). Then, when we set a date we get together as a community and play the new custom maps and game types.


So, since it takes quite a few hours of investment to make a custom map I am suggesting that we make this at least several months to give everyone a chance to do this. Maybe three months. Anyone interested chime in please.


Criteria for making a custom map/game type. To consider the maximum number of people that can be in one match. I believe it's 16, could be wrong here. Also to fancy whatever it is your chaotic ind can come up with. Think fun.

Can we submit maps that have already been made by no-bs members??

Just to confirm people. If you are not creative, not feeling creative are just don't want to invest the time I will except it if you can at least find a custom map/game type that is offered through the community share.

Aww ok, i'll keep the bullrun out of this. If anyone has a cracking idea for a gametype and/or map then i'll be a builder for them.

I will try but I make no promises on the quality it will be compared to our Halo authority Wombs.

I sadly lacking the skills and anything resembling the more attention span than a sugar induced spastic 3 year old....but I'll play these groovy maps!. Maybe folks can take a few screenshots of their creations as well?

There's some interest in this. I am planning on doing at least one new custom map soon. If interest increases we will make it an event. Maybe a special medal for it as will if LW feels like it (only if we get more interest though).

Note: If anyone makes new maps and we end up not doing this particular event we can always use said new map the next time Mystic & Ems do their Customs night.

I have several maps in the "sketch" stages, as well as a few about half done or more. Gonna have to polish these up!

This is gonna be fun!

As of right now I have one map up and running. Can't wait to do a Beta run through with you guys for sure.

Also, Tak and I are kicking around a collaboration idea for a racing map with our unique perspective in mind. Will let you guys know what, if anything, happens with that.
